Proposed Itinerary :
DAY 1
WEDNESDAY
New York, Munich
Tour members are welcomed this evening at JFK International Airport, departing on Lufthansa Airlines via widebody aircraft arriving in Munich the next day. Meals served on board.
DAY 2
THURSDAY
Munich
Arrival in Munich, the capital of Bavaria and welcome by the local tour guide who will accompany you throughout your stay. We will go and check into our hotel. This afternoon will be at leisure. We will have dinner and overnight at our hotel. An optional extra: For those that would like to have a traditional Bavarian dinner and music will be available. It will be approximately 3 hours in duration.
DAY 3
FRIDAY Munich, Linderhof, Neuschwanstein, Meersburg After breakfast, we say good by to our hosts and drive through the beautiful and scenic Bavarian countryside. We will visit two of the most famous, delightful fairytale castles built by King Ludwig II–Linderhof and Neuschwanstein. This afternoon continue to Meersburg located on the shores of Lake Constance, the largest lake in Germany and the third largest in Europe. Check into our hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4
SATURDAY Meersburg, Rheinfall, Zurich After breakfast we ferry to Konstanz. Continue to Reichenau Island (World Heritage Site) and visit the Benedictine Abbey of Reichenau. Today the island is also famous for its vegetable farms and wineries. Drive along the Rhine River and the foothills of the Alps through breathtaking scenery to Schaffhausen, Switzerland. This afternoon visit the Rhine Falls (Rheinfall), Europe’s largest waterfalls. Drive to Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland located on Lake Zurich. Continue to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5
SUNDAY Zurich After breakfast we will have a guided city tour with Grossmunster Cathedral. It was here that Huldrych Zwingli began the Swiss Reformation and visit Fraumuenster Abbey with its stunning stained glass windows by Marc Chagall and St. Peter’s Church boasting the largest clock face in Europe. In the afternoon we will have some time for leisure, to shop or explore. We will have dinner and overnight at our hotel. An optional extra: For those that would like to have a typical Swiss Fondue dinner will be available. It will be approximately 3 hours in duration.
DAY 6
MONDAY Zurich, Bern, Geneva After breakfast drive to Bern, the capital of Switzerland. We will have a city tour through the medieval historic centre (World Heritage Site) with one of the longest shopping arcades in Europe visit the Zytglogge– an elaborate medieval clock tower with moving puppets, visit the gothic, Munster Cathedral, the 15th century town hall and the Bärengraben or Bear Pit. This afternoon we will drive to Geneva. Check into our hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 7
TUESDAY Geneva After breakfast we will have a full-day sightseeing tour emphasizing the stronghold of the Swiss Reformation, associated most closely with John Calvin and Huldrych Zwingli. This afternoon we will visit St. Pierre Cathedral, Temple de l’Auditoire, Collège Calvin, Reformation Monument, University, International Museum of the Reformation, town hall and several medieval “Bürgerhäuser.” We will end our day at Calvin’s grave and remember the saints that taught Grace to us. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 8
WEDNESDAY Geneva, New York This morning after breakfast, we will board our motorcoach and go the airport for flight home. We will remember the people that stood for their faith and beliefs that gave us a personal relationship with our Lord.

PRE-TOUR: MORE OF MUNICH
DAY 1

DAY 2
TUESDAY Munich Arrival in Munich, the capital of Bavaria and welcome by the local tour guide who will accompany you throughout your stay. We will go and check into our hotel. This afternoon visit the Nymphenburg Palace, baroque residence of the Bavarian kings. Go to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3
MONDAY Amsterdam, Museum, Canal Cruise Today, we enjoy a panoramic city sightseeing tour of Amsterdam. On this tour we pass the Royal Palace on the dam, the 560-year-old “New Church,” a “Skinny” Bridge spanning the Amstel River, the Mint Tower, a source of coins in the late 1600’s, the venerable Portuguese Synagogue and Rembrandt’s House. Then we see his paintings including the Night Watch, and those of other Dutch masters at the Rijksmuseum, Holland’s National Art Gallery. This afternoon we enjoy a cruise on Amsterdam’s canals and while gliding through the old center of the city and out into the bustling harbor, we can review Amsterdam’s history in comfort. The waterways are lined with merchant’s mansions and carillon crowned churches, gabled buildings and wooden shuttered warehouses dating back to the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. Only for the May groups: In the afternoon, enjoy an excursion to Keukenhof to visit the world’s largest bulb flower park.
DAY 3
WEDNESDAY Munich, Dachau This morning we board our bus and go to historic Munich. We will through the old city with its famous buildings and squares including the Marienplatz with the town hall and its “Glockenspiel” and the “Frauenkirche” (Church of our Lady) with its distinctive onion- topped towers then visit the Olympic Park. This afternoon we will drive to Dachau and visit the site of Germany’s first Concentration Camp, a memorial site and museum. We will have a guided tour through the museum with its reconstructed barracks and crematorium. Return back to Munich for dinner and overnight.

POST-TOUR: LAKE GENEVA & LAUSANNE
DAY 1
WEDNESDAY Nyon, Lake Geneva After breakfast we board our motor coach and go to Lake Geneva to Nyon. We will walk through the well- maintained old city, situated on the banks of Lake Geneva. Visit the castle and the reformed parish church. In the afternoon we will have a boat ride on spectacular Lake Geneva. This will be one of your beautiful and relaxing days. Return to your hotel for dinner and over night.
DAY 2
THURSDAY Geneva, Lausanne This morning we will visit Lausanne. The city is the host to the International Olympic Committee and we will stop to visit the Olympic Museum. Our last stop will be the Lausanne’s Cathedral before stopping for lunch. This afternoon will be free to explore Geneva on our own, shop or spend our time at leisure. Dinner will be served at our hotel.
DAY 3
FRIDAY Geneva, New York After breakfast we will head to the airport for our flight back to the U S
