Meals served on board. DAY 2 Upon arrival in Cairo we will be met and transferred to our hotel for check in. Dinner and overnight at our hotel. DAY 3 This morning we drive to Memphis to see The Colossus of Ramses and alabaster Sphinx. When Memphis was the capital of Ancient Egypt, Saqqara served as its necropolis. There we’ll see a burial complex that goes back more than 3,000 years. The step pyramid at Saqqara was designed by Imhotep for King Djoser (c.2667-2648 BC). It is the oldest complete hewn-stone building complex known in history. We’ll also visit the newly opened Imhotep Museum which we’ll see before our lunch break. This afternoon we go to the Giza Plateau to explore the area around the ancient Pyramids, one of the wonders of the ancient world. We’ll even enjoy a camel ride and see the Sphinx up close and personal. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 4 This morning we visit the Egyptian Museum with its priceless gems including the tomb of Tutankhamen and other world-famous relics. We will visit the Nile and take a felucca ride before our lunch break. This afternoon we tour Old Cairo, including the principal Coptic church in Cairo, Abu Serga (St. Sergius). The crypt dates from the 6th century and is the traditional site where Joseph, Mary and the Christ child rested on their flight into Egypt. We tour Old Cairo, including the Coptic church of “Al-Mu’allaqah”, dating from the early fourth century and the Mohamed Ali Mosque. We will go to the airport for our short flight to Amman. Upon arrival we will be met and taken to our hotel for dinner. DAY 5 This morning we will drive to Petra. Today we will spend time in one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Start the tour of Petra; you are in the heart of the rose red Seir mountains as mentioned in the Biblical Book of Genesis. This mountain range houses the Aaron Peak, which is the highest locality in Petra and the burial place of Aaron brother of Moses. A walk down through the narrow ‘Siq’ passage, being the main entrance to Petra, along 1250 meters brings you to the first monument Treasure “the same as the one seen in the Indiana Jones’ movie”. A walk further down through the outer ‘Siq’ encompassed by tombs and burial chambers brings you to one of the largest theaters in Jordan. This theater is carved into the sand stone mountains of Petra at the bottom of the High place of Sacrifice Mountain. Apparently some sacrificial rituals used to take place here. Now, it is time to walk up hill to the Royal Tombs. You will have a great view of the lower part of Petra with all its Roman remains. These tombs are: The Urn- Corinthian- Silk- and Palace tombs. This afternoon we will board our motor coach and take a panoramic ride of the outer environs of Petra. We will head back to Amman for dinner and overnight. DAY 6 This morning we board our bus and drive along the Exodus route north along the famed historical King’s Highway, passing by the well conserved Crusader city of Kerak. Continuing northwards on the King’s Highway we drive through Wadi Mujeb the “Jordanian Grand Canyon” a wildlife reserve. Arriving at Madaba, to St George’s Church with its 6th century mosaic floor showing a map of the Holy Land as Christian pilgrims knew it in that period. Continue to Mt. Nebo, from where God showed Moses the Promised Land. This afternoon we take a short drive to the recently discovered baptismal site of “Bethany beyond the Jordan” For us Christians, the most significant event associated with the River Jordan is undoubtedly the baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ by John the Baptist. It is strongly suggested that this took place very close to Beit Abara, where Joshua, Elijah and Elisha crossed the river. In the New Testament times, it became known as Bethany, the village of John the Baptist. (This Bethany is not to be confused with the village of Bethany near Jerusalem, where the Bible says Lazarus was raised from the dead) “ The Bible clearly records that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist (Matthew 3: 13-17), and that John the Baptist lived, preached and baptized in the village of Bethany, on “the other side of the Jordan” (John 1: 28). The baptism site, known in Arabic as al-Maghtas, is located at the head of a lush valley just east of the Jordan River. It is now protected and since 1999 it is accessible to visitors. After Jesus’ baptism at Bethany, he spent forty days in the wilderness west of the River Jordan, where he fasted and resisted the temptations of Satan (Mark 1: 13, Matthew 4: 1-11).” Continue north to the Sheik Hussein border where we cross into Israel and continue on to Tiberias where we are taken to our hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 7 This morning we enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the Sea of Galileeto Capernaum, then visit Tabgha and the Mount of Beatitudes. In the afternoon we follow the Rift Valley running parallel to the Jordan, along the route Jesus most frequently traveled to Jerusalem. We visit Beth Sheanat the foot of Mt. Meals served on board. DAY 2 TUESDAY Istanbul / Thessaloniki Today we arrive at Thessaloniki, named after Alexander the Great’s sister. The city features prominently in the New Testament, at which time this provincial capital was considered a world cultural center. This community was the center of Paul’s activities in Northern Greece. It is where he preached and founded a church, and he wrote two epistles to the people of Thessaloniki (Acts 17:1-9; 1 Thessalonians; 2 Thessalonians). This evening we enjoy a welcome dinner at our hotel. DAY 3 WEDNESDAY Philippi / Kavala / Thessaloniki Today we tour along the ancient route of the Apostle Paul to Amphipolis (Acts 17:1). Our journey takes us to ancient Philippi, which was named after the father of Alexander the Great. This busy Roman colony boasted a great library and theater. In Philippi, Paul preached and established the first church in Europe, and it was the people of Philippi to whom he wrote one of his epistles while imprisoned in Rome (Acts 16:11-40; Philippians). It was in this area that Paul met Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She and her household accepted Christ and were baptized in the nearby river (Acts 16:11-15). Next we continue to Kavala, ancient port of Neapolis (Acts 16:9-11). We return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 4 THURSDAY Thessaloniki / Veria / Kalambaka This morning we stop in Veria (Beroea of the New Testament), where Paul and Silas were sent by friends after being accused of treason in Thessalonika (Acts 17:5-15). We visit the Bema, where Paul is said to have stood and preached the Gospel to the local community. Next we continue to Kalambaka to see the striking scenery of the “Hanging Monasteries”. Perched on top of huge rocks that seem to be suspended in mid-air are ageless monasteries where we can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. There are 24 monasteries in total, with 6 currently inhabited. We visit one of them before checking into our hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 5 FRIDAY Kalambaka / Athens Today we depart our hotel and drive to Athens. We stop at Thermopylae, the location where the Greeks victoriously fought for their freedom during the Greco-Persian wars in 480 BC. We see the statue of Leonidas, king of the Greek city-state Sparta. Next we continue to Athens, where we have a panoramic orientation tour and may have some free time to explore the Plaka. Dinner and overnight in Athens. DAY 6 SATURDAY Athens Today in Athens we visit the Acropolis, the Parthenon, Areopagus, and Mars Hill, where the Apostle Paul delivered his well-known sermon (Acts 17:15-34). We see the Acropolis Museum, then have a panoramic tour of the Parliament House, the Academy, Omonia Square, and Panathenaic Stadium. We have free time in the Plaka area, the ancient city of Athens. Dinner and overnight at our hotel. DAY 7 SUNDAY Athens / Corinth / Nafplio Today we drive to Corinth to visit the archaeological site where the Apostle Paul worked for 18 months with tentmakers Aquila and Priscilla (Acts 18:1-18). We also see the handmade Corinth Canal connecting the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea. Next we stop and see the ancient port of Cenchrea, where Paul stopped during his mission to the area. We learn about Isthmus, a trade center where Paul visited to spread the word between the crowds. Next we make our way to the beautiful seaport town of Nafplio, the first capital of Greece and a location rich in Venetian architecture, cobbled squares, and towering castles with commanding views of the Argolic Gulf. Here we view the water castle of Bourtzi and Palamidi Castle (note there are 999 steps to the top of the castle so, time permitting, we may have the option to climb to the top for an impressive view of the gulf). We return to Athens for dinner and overnight. DAY 8 MONDAY Athens / USA Today we say goodbye to Athens as we drive to the airport for our flight back home, filled with great memories of our time in Greece. Day by Day POST-TOUR: AEGEAN CRUISE DAY 1 MONDAY Athens / Mykonos This morning we travel to the port of Piraeus for our Aegean Cruise. Late this afternoon we arrive at our first stop: Mykonos, the mythological site of a battle between Zeus and the Titans. This hilly, rock-ribbed island is dotted with more than 350 tiny chapels built by 19th-century pirates for the protection of their patron saints. We have time to visit this fishing harbor with shops and boutiques selling handmade clothing, fabrics, jewelry, and other local items before we return to our ship for overnight. DAY 2 TUESDAY Kusadasi / Patmos This morning our ship takes us to Kusadasi, a beach resort in Turkey famous for its marina and its colorful bazaar. Here visitors can find a wide selection of hand-made carpets, leather bags, and other local products. Even more notably, Kusadasi is known for its proximity to the ancient ruins of Ephesus and its Terrace Houses, one of the world’s largest open-air museums, the House of the Virgin Mary (a house where Mary lived in her final years), and the village of Şirince. This afternoon our ship takes us to Patmos (Revelation 1:9), a beautiful, verdant island where Saint John the Evangelist wrote the book of Revelation. Atop its highest hill, within the halls of Hora, stands the monastery founded in his honor in 1088. This island, apart from its great significance to Christians all over the world, is now turning into a cosmopolitan destination. We enjoy a shore excursion to Saint John’s Monastery and the Grotto of the Apocalypse before returning to our ship for dinner and overnight. DAY 3 WEDNESDAY Rhodes This morning we arrive at the island of Rhodes, a city visited by the Apostle Paul (Acts 21:1). Separated from the Asia Minor coast by a mere 10-mile strait, Rhodes is blessed by nature with exceptional gifts. Homer called it “the Bride of the Sun,” and later poets “the Island of Roses.” In the Middle Ages, the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem established themselves at Rhodes and built a fortified city, now the best-preserved of its kind in the Mediterranean area. We are amazed by the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We take another shore excursion to Philerimos Church and Palace of the Knights before dinner and overnight on our ship. DAY 4 THURSDAY Crete / Santorini This morning we arrive in Heraklion, the capital of Crete. This former Venetian harbor hosts an archaeological museum with invaluable treasures, and Crete itself was the site of Titus’s ministry (Titus 1:5, 12; Acts 27:8). Our tour of the city takes us on a short drive to the Minoan Palace of Knossos, home to Europe’s oldest civilization (7,000 BC!). We have the opportunity to sightsee or walk the city center for shopping or dining. In the afternoon we continue our cruise to Santorini, one of the most renowned places in the world. People travel thousands of miles to admire its unique geography, the result of an earthquake many centuries ago. Our final shore excursion takes us to the picturesque village of Oia, located on the caldera rim 300 meters above the sea, before returning to our ship. DAY 5 FRIDAY Athens / USA This morning our tour comes to a close as we arrive at Lavrion, the port of Athens. We return to the airport for our journey home (Numbers 6:24–26), reveling in our unforgettable experiences in the lands of Greece. Day by Day POST-TOUR: SARONIC ISLAND CRUISE DAY 1 MONDAY Hydra / Egina / Poros After transferring from Athens to Piraeus by motor coach, we set sail for the island of Hydra, where we have free time for strolling, shopping, and swimming. Next, it's on to the island of Egina, passing through the narrow strait separating the Peloponnesian coast from the island of Poros. Upon arrival in Egina (Aegina) we have the option of joining an excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (cost not included) or taking a walk around the main town. One of the Saronic Islands of Greece in the Saronic Gulf, the lovely Egina is only 31 miles from Athens, and is a popular getaway for Athenians during the summer months. After lunch served on board we sail to Poros in the southern Agrosaronic Gulf. We have free time to explore Poros - we could visit ancient Trizina, the ruins of the Russian Dockyard, or take a romantic stroll in the Lemon Forest. After sailing back to Piraeus port we are transferred to our hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 2 TUESDAY Athens / USA This morning we return to the airport for our flight back home, filled with great memories of our time in Greece. *The trip will take place in case of a group of 16 people * * The route, as well as the order of visiting places, may be changed due to quarantine restrictions, as well as for safety reasons or due to the weather, road repair work etc. Reviews

This is our time to relish the views of the old wooden mansions, Ottoman palaces, and ancient fortresses that dot the river’s coast before the ship drops us off in Asia! Here, we will visit Beylerbeyi Palace, which was constructed between 1861 and 1865 during the reign of Sultan Abdülaziz as a summer residence for the Ottoman sultans. Next, we will enjoy impressive views from Camlica Hill. At 268 meters above sea level, it is the highest point in Istanbul, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. From the top, we can see the Bosphorus Bridge, the Eminonu Peninsula, the Sea of Marmara, and the Princes’ Island. And if the skies are clear this day, we may also see as far as Mount Uludag near Bursa! Then, we will drive across the bridge back to Europe and return to our hotel. Dinner and Overnight in Istanbul. DAY 2 Istanbul, City Tour After enjoying our Turkish breakfast, we will depart from our hotel and begin our tour of the historical highlights of Istanbul. First, we visit the beautiful Rustem Pasha Mosque, which was designed by the extraordinarily prolific Ottoman imperial architect, Mimar Sinan. Then, we walk nearby to Eminönü’s Spice Bazaar, the large covered market that has remained the city’s center for spice trade since its creation in the 17th century. Afterwards, we head to the hill where ancient Byzantium was founded and enjoy a stroll through Hippodrome Square, the former sporting and social center of Constantinople that hosted chariot races during the Roman period. Next, we are off to the domed masterpiece of Hagia Sophia, the Orthodox patriarchal basilica-turned Ottoman imperial mosque-turned secular museum commissioned by Byzantine Emperor Justinian in the 6th century. Then, we head to Topkapi Palace, the former abode of Ottoman Sultans that still houses their legion of treasures, including an extensive collection of royal jewels. We will then end our day with an evening of shopping at the Grand Bazaar, the massive covered market that houses a labyrinth of streets lined with shops selling jewelry, leather products and many other handcrafted souvenirs. Dinner and Overnight in Istanbul. DAY 3 Istanbul, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, Denizli Today, we will eat breakfast early before heading to the pier to embark our speed ferry departing at 07:00 am. Upon arrival to the Port of Bandirma, we head to the town of Akhisar to visit ancient Thyatira, one of the Seven Churches praised for its increasing faith but admonished for its tolerance of Jezebel (Rev. 2:18-28). Next, we continue to Sardis, a once powerful city located along an important ancient highway and among the fertile plain of Hermus (Geldiz River). Though Sardis was a strong and wealthy city with a reputation for being alive, God announced that it was actually dead (Rev. 3:1-6). Here, we will explore the white marble royal way, the massive Temple of Artemis, the large gymnasium, and the famous synagogue. Annual archaeological expeditions sponsored by Harvard and Cornell Universities have unearthed over eighty Greek and seven Hebrew inscriptions as well as numerous mosaic floors revealing this synagogue as one of the most significant synagogues of antiquity. Afterwards, we will head to the modern town of Alasehir and visit the site of ancient Philadelphia, the church that received God’s highest commendation (Rev. 3:7-13). Here, we will see the remains of a brick-built Byzantine basilica adorned with 11th century frescoes. Dinner and Overnight in Denizli. DAY 4 This morning, we are off to visit Pamukkale, “Cotton Castle”, and dip our feet in the thermal waters that flow down the hilltop’s unique white travertine terraces. At the summit, we explore the archeological remains of Hierapolis, a significant site of early Christianity thanks to Paul’s missionary efforts here (Colossians 4:13). Because the city sits atop the travertine cascades of Pamukkale (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Hierapolis became a healing center wherein the site’s thermal pools were used to treat various ailments. Today, we will stroll among a number of important ruins including well-preserved Roman structures like the town theatre and Temple of Apollo before continuing on to Laodicea. This city was one of the Seven Churches that the Apostle John chastised the inhabitants for being lukewarm (Rev. 3:14-22). Here, we will see the site’s well-preserved stadium, gymnasium, and theatres, giving us insight into this city’s former prominence. Next, we drive to Kusadasi, a beautiful resort town that sits on the Aegean coast Dinner and Overnight in Kusadasi. DAY 5 Kusadasi, Ephesus, Kusadasi Today, we are off to explore Ephesus. Located in the modern town of Selcuk, ancient Ephesus is one of the most well-preserved archaeological sites in Turkey. Originally an ancient Greek Ionic city built in the 10th century B.C., Ephesus grew to become the largest metropolis and capital of the Roman province of Asia Minor. This political influence and the city’s large Jewish community attracted the attention of the apostles, including Paul. Here, he carried out his mission for two years and was Bishop of the Ephesian Church before he was exiled to Patmos. Today, we will walk on the Marble Road passing numerous historically rich sites including the Temple of Artemis (Diana), the fountain of Trajan, and the Temple of Hadrian. We will also see the Library of Celsus, which adorns the site’s most impressive square, and sit in the theater (the largest surviving from the Roman period). This massive theatre (capable of entertaining up to 25,000 spectators) was the scene of an uprising provoked by a merchant named Demetrius against St. Paul and his teachings (Acts 19:23). Before returning to our Kusadasi hotel, we will stop at the ruins of St. John’s Basilica. Constructed by Justinian in the 6th century, this basilica stands over the believed burial site of John the Apostle. Dinner and Overnight in Kusadasi. DAY 6 Kusadasi, Smyrna, Pergamum, Canakkale This morning, we will drive to the thriving modern city of Izmir and visit the ruins of ancient Smyrna, one of the Seven Churches that the Apostle John relays the promise from God: “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Rev 2:10). Here, we will see what remains of the Agora, the ancient market place that was built in the 4th century BC, before continuing on to Pergamum, one of the most powerful cities in the ancient world. The city rose to prominence following the death of Alexander the Great in 323 B.C. and eventually came under Roman control in 133 B.C. Although the city benefited from immense wealth, in the Book of Revelations, the risen Christ instructs John to convey the message that the people of Pergamum, the site of “Satan’s throne”, needed to repent (Rev 2:13-16). Today, we will tour the Acropolis, which sits atop a 1000-foot windswept mountain, offering a view of the neighboring modern towns, the azure waters of the Aegean, and the ruins of Pergamum that cascade down from the ancient city center. Here, we will explore the Temple of Trajan, Temple of Athena and the Altar of Zeus. Unfortunately, little is left of the altar, which was once among the grandest monuments of the ancient world. In fact, every stone of the structure, including its 400-foot long frieze depicting the battle of the gods and giants, was shipped off to Berlin by German Archaeologists leaving only the altar’s foundation. Thankfully, much more remains of the Great Theatre. Among the steepest of its kind and an acoustic phenomenon, this theatre could entertain up to 10,000 spectators. Nearby are the remains of the famous Library of Pergamum. Once housing some 200,000 scrolls, the library’s collection even exceeded that of the great library of Alexandria before Mark Anthony gave it to Cleopatra as a wedding gift. Afterwards, we will drive to Canakkle for the night. Dinner and Overnight in Canakkale. DAY 2 Your guide will greet you at the airport and escort you into the city for a driving tour to help you acclimate to where things are. Check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (D) DAY 3 Enjoy a guided tour of the Vatican’s Museums and Sistine Chapel. Built by connecting portions of the old Papal residence with newer structures, the museum houses a world-renowned collection of art and antiquities. Michelangelo painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel between 1508 and 1512, and later painted The Last Judgment between 1535 and 1541 for Popes Clement VII and Paul III. The primary function of the chapel is the Papal Conclave, providing the place where the College of Cardinals of the church gathers to select a new Pope. Then walk through St. Peter’s Basilica and celebrate Mass here. The present structure, completed in 1590, was built over the Byzantine and Middle Ages structures that marked the tomb of Saint Peter. There are more than 100 tombs within the basilica, including, most recently, Saint John Paul II. Finish the day at the Pantheon, built by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus (27 BC to 14 AD). Emperor Hadrian rebuilt it around 126 AD. The building was given to Pope Boniface IV who converted it into a church - Saint Mary and the Martyrs (Santa Maria Rotunda). Mass continues to be celebrated here. Enjoy a visit to the Forum and the Colosseum, once the heart of ancient Rome and a place of martyrdom for the early saints. You will explore the romance of Rome as you stop at the famous Trevi Fountain. Legend says those who toss a coin into the fountain will one day return to Rome to toss another into the waters of Trevi. Return to your hotel for overnight. Dinner is on your own this evening. (B) DAY 4 After breakfast, enjoy the opportunity to join in prayer with Pope Francis and receive his greeting, blessing and prayers (When the Pope is in Rome). Begin your afternoon with a visit to the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran. Six Popes are entombed here. Next door is the Holy Staircase (Scala Santa), brought from Pilate’s Palace in Jerusalem by Saint Helena in the 4th Century. Climbing the stairs on your knees is a devotion that many pilgrims perform, and a plenary indulgence is granted for completing this feat. Next is the Basilica of Saint Lawrence Outside the Walls (San Lorenzo). Saint Lawrence was one of the first seven deacons of Rome, martyred in 258. The Church is built next to catacombs that lead down to his grave. The relics of Saints Justin Martyr and Stephen are also enshrined here. Continue your pilgrim journey to the Basilica of Saint Mary Major (Maria Maggiore). This is the largest Marian church in Rome. Its construction began after the Council of Ephesus in 431 proclaimed that Mary was the Mother of God. Saint Jerome, translator of the Bible into the Latin Vulgate, is buried here. Celebrate Mass in one of the Churches here. Dinner is on your own this evening. (B) DAY 5 This morning begins another day of pilgrimage at the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls. The present structure stands over the place where Constantine built the first church over Saint Paul’s grave. The church features a portrait of every Pope that has served the church, with the face of Pope Francis I illuminated as the present pontiff. Step beneath the surface into the Catacombs of Callixtus, built along the Appian Way. Here 16 Popes from the 2nd through 4th Centuries were interred, though they have been removed to various churches over the centuries. San Sebastian Outside the Walls is another of the seven Pilgrimage churches, built over the Catacombs of Saint Sebastian. The remains of Peter and Paul were temporarily protected here during the Valerian Persecution of 258. Our seventh and final pilgrimage stop is the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem. Saint Helena brought Passion relics here, and the floor was covered with soil from Jerusalem. Relics here include the index finger of Thomas that touched the wounds of Christ after His resurrection, and a piece of the Good Thief’s Cross. Those who want to complete the seven-church pilgrimage as declared by Saint John Paul II in 2000 can continue with one more stop at Shrine of Our Lady of Divine Love. Here a pilgrim pursued by dogs appealed to Our Lady and she intervened for his safety. Pilgrims began to frequent the site and a chapel was built here in 1745. Celebrate mass in one of the churches. Dinner is on your own this evening – Unless you choose the optional Opera Dinner option in Rome ($ more). (B) DAY 6 Enjoy a day to explore, shop and taste Rome on your own. Or purchase the optional Pompeii Day Excursion ($125 extra). Dinner is on your own this evening. (B) DAY 7 Return to USA or optional Pompeii Day Tour *The trip will take place in case of a group of 16 people * * The route, as well as the order of visiting places, may be changed due to quarantine restrictions, as well as for safety reasons or due to the weather, road repair work etc. Reviews

His missionary journeys are not only impressive in their scope but also in the meticulous planning and unwavering commitment they demonstrate. Paul’s voyage to Greece included numerous stops where he preached the Gospel, notably in Athens, Corinth, and other regions of Greece. The Greeks, known for their love of wisdom, presented a unique audience. Amazing Acropolis and Parthenon where we may discover the architectural and philosophical cradle of the western world. Paul engaged with them at the Areopagus Hill: where he delivered his famous sermon about the "Unknown God." He was finding a way to connect and convey his message effectively. On the Ancient Agora: Engage with the historical marketplace where Paul debated daily. Visiting these historical sites—standing where Paul once stood—offers a profound experience that strengthens one’s faith.
